The Agape Principle is to work with clients and their families in the spirit of brotherly love, using the tools of patience, persistence, kindness, faithfulness, honesty, gentleness, & self-control to promote joy, peace and healing; to those who are suffering.

 

Our organization provides the following services & programs:

Our Licensed Home Care Agency provides compassionate care in the home with our professional staff of Nurses, Certified Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides.  Our agency serves the following six counties of Central New York:  ​Cayuga County; Cortland County; Madison County; Oneida County; Onondaga County; and Oswego County.

Providing structured activities and outings for adults (18 yrs. & older) with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), Dementia, and Stroke.  Our Social Adult Day (Structured Day) Program offers activities such as; arts & crafts, cognitive exercises, games, guest musical artists, choral & dance performances, computer skills, exercise program, outings, volunteering and more.

Winds of Agape Home Care Job Training Program* has offered training courses for: ​Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA); Personal Care Aides (PCA); Traumatic Brain Injury Course; CPR Course; and First Aid Course.

The Winds of Agape Families in Crisis Program (FIC) has evolved into, The P.S.A.L.M.S. (Personally & Professionally Skilled Agape Life Management Services) Project Program, an umbrella term for all of the services and programs that Winds of Agape provides to benefit individuals and families in need as well as agencies that request our assistance with residential and commercial projects in the surrounding communities.

This program was developed to provide emergency assistance for those facing a crisis situation.  Agencies and organizations submit referrals on behalf of families or individuals in need of moving assistance, furniture and other emergency requests.
